Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. Principal - Nick Larkin

Nick had an intense musical background routed in singing, piano and violin. He gained a place at the Guildford School of Acting at the tender age of 18, where he trained for 3 years, graduating with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre.

After graduating Nick spent a short chapter of his life working as an actor, playing roles such as 'Schlomo' in the National tour of Fame and 'Brujon' in Les Miserables in Concert. He did however, quickly realise acting wasn't really his calling and has since become a Musical Director. Nick has worked at many of the country's leading Drama Schools inc. Arts Ed, Sylvia Young and GSA as an MD and singing coach.

Musical Directing Credits include; Little Shop of Horrors, Fiddler on The Roof, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ‘i’, This Too Shall Pass, Cabaret, Sideshow, Talk of The Town, Daydream Believer (World Premier), Payback the Musical – Riverside, Hammersmith, MD and Choir Master on West End Men – Vaudeville and Carnival.

Nick has worked at many Stagecoaches across the south of England and is extremely passionate about the confidence and joy that performing arts can bring into young people’s lives. He is very proud to be the Principal of Stagecoach Eastbourne.
