Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Hannah Plummer-Walsh

In 2014 Hannah graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a First Class Hons. degree in Fine Art. Her studies in the Arts has enabled her to work professionally making props and designing scenery for a multitude of shows such as, “Made in Dagenham” (Sheffield Lyceum) “RENT The Musical” (Sheffield Crucible) and “Pricilla Queen Of The Desert” (Sheffield Lyceum). She has vast experience working within the theatre industry, along with being involved with a variety of amateur dramatic companies around Sheffield as an on and off Stage member, she has been fortunate enough to be employed by theatre companies in roles ranging from props manager, scenic artist, scenic designer, Stage Manager and Crew, working on some spectacular productions and having the opportunity to be involved with some fantastic theatrical experiences.

Her main ambition for Stagecoach Barnsley & Penistone is to develop and create an environment where the students are nurtured and feel comfortable enough to step out of their comfort zones, challenging themselves whilst learning new skills. A place where if they wish, can develop the valuable knowledge it takes to build a career in the Performing Arts industry.

Hannah is lucky enough to work along side her husband Nick Plummer-Walsh, the Principal at Stagecoach Doncaster. She is now very excited to take on the role as Principal. They will work closely as a team to produce large-scale productions and offer organised theatre trips and events.
