Stagecoach Bath

Welcome to Stagecoach Bath where we provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for students aged 4-19yrs. 
 
Our classes take place at:-
 
Hayesfield Upper School, Bath, BA2 3LA
 
Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, dancing and acting classes in Bath, stretching young imaginations and helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and fun.
 
In addition to our weekly classes and holiday workshops, we also offer LAMDA examinations, Trinity Musical Theatre Examinations and specialist West End Workshops.
 
Our students take part in full scale shows and have the opportunity to perform in West End and Regional Events throughout the year, as well as opportunites to perform at Disneyland Paris! 
 
We have developed a unique Educational Framework for each stage of learning, so that every child can learn to sing, dance and act while building confidence and developing life skills.

Beauty and the Beast Jr

We are thrilled to announce that our Autumn Term show will be Beauty and the Beast Jr! Performances will take place on 14th and 15th December. Tickets available soon.

Holiday Workshops 2025

Come and join us in our Holiday Workshops. Singing, dancing and acting for children aged 4 - 6 and 6 - 18 years old. Children make new friends, build confidence, learn new skills & work towards a performance for family and friends. Open to Stagecoach & Non-Stagecoach students. Tax Free Childcare and Childcare vouchers accepted.

Disneyland Paris

This Summer we took 16 students to ‘Dance the Dream’ at Disneyland Paris. They spent 4 magical days in the park, singing in a Disney Workshop, performing on the Videopolis stage and dancing in their own 'Pre-Parade'. Performance Opportunities

We have many performing opportunities for our students at Stagecoach Bath. We recently performed at the Theatre Royal in Bath and also 'His Majesty's' theatre in the West End. In 2025 we will be performing in the West End again at the 'Shaftesbury Theatres on Sunday 1st June!

LAMDA Tuition

We can now offer students individual or group LAMDA lessons. Students work with our specialist coach Laurie to prepare their pieces and then perform in front of an examiner. These exams help to improve children's confidence as well as expanding their skill set. Recent results saw all our students achieving a Distinction.

Weekly Classes

Mini Stages (for ages 2-4 yrs)

Mini Stages
Stagecoach Mini Stages (for 2 -4 year olds) 45 Minute Classes are a fun and exciting way for you and your child to actively experience the performing arts in a comfortable, relaxed and safe environment.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Adult Stages (for ages 18+ yrs)

Adult Classes

Develop your skills in the three core performing arts disciplines of singing, dancing and acting with our Adult Classes. Whether you have previous experience in the performing arts or you’re a complete beginner, you’ll be able to learn something new and explore musical theatre skills in a friendly, fun and safe environment.

Meet The Team

Principal - Sandra Mayo

Sandra is a trained singer who has been performing for over 25 years. She has been involved in many musical productions, her favourites being Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Nancy in Oliver, Anna in The Merry Widow, Ado Annie in Oklahoma and most recently the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music. As well as her love of being on the stage, she has also been the soloist in many oratorios and concerts throughout Wiltshire. Sandra has been teaching singing for over 14 years, working in local primary and secondary schools. This has included individual teaching as well as leading workshops, training choirs and directing end of term shows. For the past eight years Sandra has been Musical Director for CLOGS Music Theatre in Chippenham organising their yearly spring concerts. Sandra is thrilled to be part of the success of Stagecoach Bath, helping children develop their creativity, expression and confidence through the performing arts.
