Stagecoach Brentwood

A warm welcome to Stagecoach Brentwood!  We pride ourselves on providing quality part-time performing arts training in Brentwood. Our aim is to stretch imaginations, build confidence and create unforgettable memories for each and every child that walks through our doors through our singing, dance and drama lessons.  We are not just here for the children full of jazz hands and pirouettes – we help all students grow in character, improve communication skills, develop physical awareness and blossom into their absolute fullest potential.  We have also developed a unique Educational Framework for each stage of learning which you can learn more about using this link here.

Our Brentwood performing arts classes run during term time for 90 minutes, 2 hours or 3 hours, depending on the age of your child.  Throughout the year, we strive to provide as many performing opportunities for our students as possible. This ranges from in-house demos, to full productions on stage and performances at legendary venues.  We set our performance standards high, but our aim is fun and enjoyment out of every session!  There are no auditions to join Stagecoach Brentwood – all you need is enthusiasm, a passion for fun and a love for performance.

In addition to our regular singing, dancing and drama classes, we offer LAMDA exams, written reports, theatre trips, specialist West End workshops, audition techniques and guidance on working towards representation for film, TV and Theatre work for those who want to.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Sasha Cairns

Sasha has been passionate about the performing arts from a very young age and went on to train professionally in Musical Theatre.  After graduating, she pursued performing as a career and enjoyed successes in the performing arts industry, including the UK tour of ‘The Naked Truth’, performing alongside Faye Tozer and Vicky Michelle.  Whilst working as a professional performer, Sasha taught at various Stagecoach schools, where she has seen her students secure West End roles in shows such as ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Matilda’, as well as commercials and TV work.

Sharing her passion with other people and students is something Sasha loves doing and her experience as a teacher has allowed her to see first-hand the positive effects of Stagecoach for children and teenagers. She really believes in Stagecoach’s fundamental value of “Creative Courage for Life”, and that the educational programme is a brilliant platform for children who want to pursue performing careers. She also believes it's equally as good for all those children who need a bit of a confidence boost, to build on life skills or just enjoy it as a hobby.

Sasha is very excited to be running Stagecoach Brentwood and creating exciting performance opportunities and stories of achievement with all her students.
