A very warm welcome from Stagecoach Cheltenham! We are proud to offer top-quality part-time training in Singing, Dancing and Acting for children between 4-18years.
At Stagecoach Performing Arts Cheltenham, we offer a fun and supportive environment where children can explore their creativity and develop a love for the performing arts. Our goal is to help students build confidence, express themselves, and nurture their talents with like-minded people and talented, inspirational teachers

 We believe that the whole world is a stage, and every student has the potential to shine. We focus on creating a supportive, inspiring atmosphere where children can grow both as performers and as individuals. Learning skills that will give them creative courage for life. 

Alongside our weekly classes with our highly skilled, passionate teachers, we offer a range of additional opportunities including. Private tuition, LAMDA examinations, regular castings, and many performance opportunities including the chance to perform on a West End Stage!

We are proud that Stagecoach Cheltenham is OFSTED accredited, we accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare for termly classes and holiday workshops. Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Meet The Team

Principals - Gemma Baker & Sophie-May Isaacs

 
Gemma and Sophie started their Stagecoach journey as pupils at Stagecoach Cheltenham with their mum Sharon as principal 25 Years ago. Their passion for the performing arts never really ended. Sophie went on to carve a very successful career in the West End, across the UK and Internationally. Gemma began teaching Early Stages and Main School dance before Managing the School alongside Sharon.

Sophie is a well known musical theatre actress and has a wealth of professional knowledge and experience to inspire and impart to our Stagecoach students! She has appeared in leading roles in some of the UKs most loved musicals including Six, Heathers, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Kinky Boots, Made in Dagenham and many more.

Gemma is highly qualified in Early Years and has extensive experience working with children of all ages, dedicating her life to nurturing their care and education across many sectors. Gemma also shares the same passion for all things performing  arts and trained for many years as a dancer herself before beginning her teaching career.

Together, Gemma and Sophie bring knowledge, passion, and experience, with their schools and exceptional teaching team at the core of everything they do.
