Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Jessica Strong

Jess is proud to be the new Principal of Stagecoach Oxford Headington. Stagecoach has been a big part of her life. She became a student at 10 years of age and continued throughout her teenage years also becoming an assistant at Oxford Stagecoach. Later, during and after graduating, she taught there and at several other Stagecoaches, but has been Oxford’s dance teacher for the past three years.
Jess studied Musical Theatre and Dance at The Margaret Howard Theatre College, London and graduated in 2011 having received the ‘Best Musical Theatre Student’ award with theatre credits including Bird Girl in Sussical the Musical; Maureen and Dot in Honk! Timoune in Once on this Island and Cinderella in Cinderella the Panto.
After graduating, she was cast as ‘Aladdin’ in Aladdin UK Tour and then sang and danced at numerous corporate events in London and around the UK. Before hanging up her professional dancing shoes, she had two wonderful years touring all around the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands with the highly successful company ‘Back to Broadway’.
For the past 5 years she has run dance classes in her local area and choreographed The Oxford Youth Musical Theatre’s productions of Wizard of Oz, Miss Saigon, Crazy for You, CATS and Hot Mikado. More recently, she has become the choreographer for The Abingdon Operatic Society.
Jess is excited to take on Stagecoach Oxford Headington and has great plans for its future.
