Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

(3 hrs each week)

Further Stages (for ages 15+ yrs)

Stagecoach Further Stages
Our advanced musical theatre sessions give talented students the chance to extend their performance skills.  Through in-depth training and master classes, we help students to hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting.  We also give students the confidence to audition for theatre and vocational drama schools (if that is their goal) and make sure they are well prepared for interviews and auditions.

Fees in accordance with Main Stages.

Meet The Team

Principal - Catherine Tracey

Catherine trained at The Guildford School of Acting, where she obtained a first class honours degree in Musical Theatre.
Catherine is no stranger to the Stagecoach family, having attended Stagecoach as a child growing up in Eastbourne, and then going on to teach all disciplines at various Stagecoaches in London and the south east, notably spending many years as the Singing and Early Stages teacher at Stagecoach New Malden. Catherine has also run many successful theatre classes and schools for several other companies over the years, building a real expertise and passion for delivering the
best performing arts training possible.

As a performer, Catherine appeared in many plays and musicals, including UK tours and large scale pantomimes, including playing the leading role at The Hawth pantomime just down the road in Crawley! She also appeared in the BBC drama series Our Girl. Her career in the arts then took her in a different direction, as she worked as a West End agent for a top London agency for some years, representing actors in theatre, tv, film and radio.

Catherine aims to use drama and performing to bring out the very best in every child and allow them to thrive, not just in technique, but in their confidence, self-belief, social skills and happiness, and all done with a huge dollop of fun! She combines this with a wealth of industry knowledge and believes in running a happy, nurturing school that welcomes all with open arms.
Catherine lives with her husband Carl (who may be familiar to some as the ‘yellow’ one in Nick Jnr’s Go! Go! Go!) and their fluffy dog, Sweep!
