A big, warm welcome to Stagecoach Poynton where we provide quality part-time training in Performing Arts for children aged 4 - 18 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes in Stockport; stretching young imaginations and building confidence.
Myself and the Poynton teachers are all industry professionals who love to share our knowledge and passion for performing with the students. So whether your child is a born performer or just needs some extra support building their confidence, Stagecoach Poynton can definitely help.

Spring Term Early Stages

This Spring, the students will learn the skills of singing, dance and drama in a fun and energetic environment - all to our 'Superhero' theme. Limited trial places remain so book your place now to join the fun and find your child's 'creative courage for life'.

Spring Term - Moana Jr

This term, we will be working towards an exciting performance of 'Moana Jr'. If your child is 6-18 years old and loves to perform, you definitely don't want to miss out on this one. Show date: 28th March.

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Caitlin Wineyard

Caitlin graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre from Performance Preparation Academy in 2019. Shortly after this, she landed a contract as a ‘Lead Vocalist’ in the show company onboard the MS Black Watch. As well as being the Principal at Stockport and Poynton she is also working as a Stagecoach Singing Teacher and Manager, alongside working as a Teaching Assistant at Co-op Academy.
Caitlin’s Stagecoach journey started in 2017, and ever since, she has been extremely passionate about giving students the best possible education in the performing arts.
