A big, warm welcome to Stagecoach Stockport where we provide quality part-time training in Performing Arts for children aged 4 - 18 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes in Stockport; stretching young imaginations and building confidence.
Myself and the Stockport teachers are all industry professionals who love to share our knowledge and passion for performing with the students. So whether your child is a born performer or just needs some extra support building their confidence, Stagecoach Stockport can definitely help.

Autumn Term - Main School

Now enrolling new students for a two week trial in our Autumn Term starting on the 14th September 2024. This is a 'Demonstration' term for Main Stages, where we will invite friends and family in at the end of the term to see what they've been up to. We only have limited spaces, so enrol today!

Autumn Term: Early Stages

This Autumn, our Early Stages students will be heading into a jam-packed 'Demonstration Term'. Friends and family will be invited to watch a showing of work at the end of the 12 weeks. Limited trial places remaining!

Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Stagecoach Early Stages
Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Stagecoach Main Stages
Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Caitlin Wineyard

Caitlin graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre from Performance Preparation Academy in 2019. Shortly after this, she landed a contract as a ‘Lead Vocalist’ in the show company onboard the MS Black Watch. As well as being the Principal at Stockport, she is also working as a Stagecoach Singing Teacher and Manager, alongside working as a Teaching Assistant at Co-op Academy.
Caitlin’s Stagecoach journey started in 2017, and ever since, she has been extremely passionate about giving students the best possible education in the performing arts.
Caitlin is very excited to be the Principal at Stagecoach Stockport after being the Manager there between 2022/23. She has loved working with the pupils, teachers and parents, and is looking forward to the exciting times ahead.
