Meet The Team

Principal - Genna Lane

Genna has lived and breathed Performing Arts since the early age of 3 when she began Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acro and Mime. Taking exams up to elementary level following the AAD syllabus, in all her subjects. This lead on to Genna studying at M.A.D.D Performing Arts college graduating after 3 years with a diploma in Musical Theatre at the age of 19. She then went on to work in professional contracts in different variety shows in Europe. Genna’s brother trained at Stagecoach Sheffield in their hometown from the age of 6 which lead to professional UK tours. Since her performing years she has taught dance in many different primary schools in Wiltshire, also teaching dance at Stagecoach for the past 3 years and leading Ballroom and Latin fitness classes for adults most evenings. Genna is a keen fitness instructor and strives to make both children and adults fit and healthy.

Her passion and enthusiasm accompanied by her joyful friendly nature can be seen day to day in the Stagecoach principal. Her dedication to Performing Arts along with her eagerness to succeed translates to her teachers in like manner. Genna wants to spread her passion onto all the young performers at Stagecoach Swindon and guide them to be the best they can!
